Mr Mukul Manchanda currently heads the sales for Iron Ore Pellet business vertical – one of the 6 key sales verticals at Essar Steel. Since taking over the role in 2016, he has gradually steered Essar pellets to newer markets in Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Europe after establishing the product in China. Mukul has been instrumental in driving the product development initiatives that have led to Essar offering multiple grades of pellets for different markets.
An MBA in marketing and finance with close to 14 years of experience in the steel business, Mukul has handled diverse roles across market research, Heavy Plate sales, business analyst, strategy & business development and as an executive assistant to Director Sales & Marketing amongst others.
He also serves as a governing council member and Vice President at the Pellet Manufacturers’ Association of India (PMAI)
On or off work, Mukul is an ardent believer in healthy living & clean eating and is an avid CrossFitter. When he’s not at work, Mukul pursues his passion for off-roading, road tripping and adventure sports.
