Artem Polischuk

Strategy Group - Chief Steel Raw Materials Analyst, Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works, Russia

    Mr Artem has been with MMK since 2005. In 2005 he was an Analyst for global regional steel markets within MMK’s Strategy Department and was promoted in 2008 as a Chief Steel Raw Materials Analyst for MMK’s Marketing Department. He then moved as the Chief Steel Raw Materials Analyst for the Strategy Group in 2011.

    Mr Artem’s main expertise lies within the markets analysis of Global and Russia-CIS steel raw materials which includes regular research notes for short-term and long-term market trends, price forecasts for Iron Ore, Coking Coal and Scrap/Metallics, Strategic marketing recommendations for MMK raw materials supply and the Russian and CIS steel raw materials market balances, main drivers and volume estimations.

    In addition, Mr Artems is a member of BoD at Belon Coal Company, which is a MMK subsidiary and also a member of World Steel Association under Raw Materials Committee and Blast Furnace Feed working group.
